I had a front row seat as a member of the ethics committee. The “Club” mentality of conducting the biz of Altadena MUST cease. We must now return to unslfish service, compromise and cordial, respectful debate in order to truly represent the citizens of Altadena. I am ashamed of what the ATC has become and we must not tolerate it any longer. I have been a member of the Land Use committee for around 7 years and was booted off once due to a personal disagreement. I enjoy serving my community and take my work seriously but am losing my taste for it due to the shenanigans of a few.
The good news is that we have a new Town Council seated. This could be the beginning of good things to come or it could be the same old thing. There is still one very necessary resignation needed, I hope that individual will step up and do the right thing….
